Her executive leadership spans over 20 years across industries, including Technology, Media and Finance. As Chief Compliance Officer (VP) at SkyShowtime - a Comcast and Paramount joint venture - and previously as the EMEA Head of Cybersecurity, Data & Privacy, Global Human Rights Attorney, and EMEA Compliance Officer, for Intel, she has directed enterprise-wide strategies across highly visible and regulated sectors. Having also held pivotal roles at Sage, NBCUniversal, and the BBC, Monica has managed complex portfolios including AI governance, privacy, security, corporate compliance, human rights, and ESG.
Her leadership is further informed by her service on the Board of Directors for the IAPP, steering European technical standards, and her board-level advocacy for the Global Fund for Women, focusing on social justice and digital equity. Her commitment to practical AI governance led her to co-found Knowledgebridge AI, where she translates emerging regulatory mandates into actionable literacy and training programs for global workforces. Monica’s technical fluency extends to the practical engineering and oversight of high-impact automated systems. She has direct operational experience managing the security and compliance architecture for autonomous vehicles, LIDAR, Radar, drone technologies, digital marketing and payment processing, ensuring these platforms operate within strict privacy-by-design parameters, applying relevant impact assessments for privacy, AI, and human rights. Her expertise extends across wider organizational functions, including supply chain risk management and modern slavery risks. She is also a seasoned investigator with direct experience managing and mitigating and high profile privacy breaches, including ransomware attacks, internal fraud, and privacy breaches, and direct engagement with regulators across Europe.
